What are Surfactants?

Surfactants are surface-active ingredients that reduce the surface tension between liquids, oils and solids, allowing them to mix more effectively. They help lift, disperse and emulsify dirt, grease and oils, making them essential ingredients in cleaning, personal care and industrial formulations.

Amphoteric Surfactants

Amphoteric surfactants can carry either a positive or negative charge depending on the pH, making them exceptionally mild, versatile and well suited to personal care and specialist cleaning formulations.

Non-Ionic Surfactants

Non-ionic surfactants have no electrical charge, offering excellent emulsifying, wetting and grease-removing performance while remaining stable across a wide range of formulations and water conditions.

Anionic Surfactants

Anionic surfactants carry a negative charge and are widely used for their powerful cleansing, foaming and soil-removal properties in household, industrial and personal care products.
